SPRING ART WALK

Under a backdrop of snowcapped mountains and budding Aspens, collectors and art patrons of all ages can leisurely stroll through 18 great galleries and artist studios during the the annual Art Walk Weekend in May. The two-day self-guided tour sets the tone for the upcoming summer season, with many galleries unveiling new artists and their original works. The tour begins at 10 a.m. and concludes at 5 p.m.

From museum quality shows to quaint artist studios, visitors will enjoy paintings, sculpture, pottery, weaving, jewelry, woodcarving, Native American crafts, glasswork, handmade paper, and photography fashioned by accomplished artists of local, statewide and national acclaim.

The Art Walk  is held in conjunction with Jazz Fest, an annual event staged at Performance Park Amphitheater. The two-day outdoor festival heralds renowned musicians. The spring weekend is filled with the sounds of jazz, special events, art exhibitions, and artist demonstrations.

Art Walk maps are available at the Estes Park Visitors Center, Performance Park, participating galleries and the Cultural Arts Council of Estes Park.
