See art being created and bid on an original painting by nationally-recognized artist Karol Mack on Saturday, November 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the Estes Park Museum. Join Karol and her son Brian for a fascinating afternoon as they describe the process involved in creating the historic paintings for their recently published book, Estes Park, Grand Lake, and Rocky Mountain National Park: A Cultural History.
Karol will complete a painting in the same historic style as the art featured in the book, offering that work in a silent auction which will benefit the Estes Park Museum Friends. Brian will discuss the rich cultural history of the area. Karol and Brian will be available to sign their latest book which can be purchased in the Museum Gift Shop. Refreshments will be served.
