MAY 25-27: MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND ART MARKET & ANTIQUE SHOW MAY 25-27, 2012 Shoppers, diners, wildlife watchers, purveyors of arts and crafts, and antique and Western art enthusiasts delight in the three-day Memorial Day weekend in Estes Park. Amidst budding trees and blossoming flowers, Estes Park is bustling. From Saturday through Monday, May 25 to May 27, check out Bond Park in the center of downtown. More than 90 local, statewide, and national artisans showcase their talents in an annual, juried Art Market. Don't miss the Gallery Row that features work from local art galleries. Live music and food are available throughout the weekend. Art Market hours are Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 6 pm; Monday 9 am to 3 pm. On the East side of town, Barn W at the Fairgrounds at Stanley Park is the site for the Western Heritage Antiques Show, another traditional event that kicks off the summer season in Estes Park. Each year, about 2,000 people take the opportunity to check out vendor booths filled with an array of hidden treasures: jewelry, rare glass, books, fine antique furniture, and wood burning stoves. The Antiques and Collectables Show hours are 10 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday of the holiday weekend. Monday, Memorial Day the hours are 10 am to 3 pm.
